A Bettendorf man who owns several waste management companies in Iowa has been accused of failing to pay more than $30 million in federal taxes.
An Internal Revenue Service complaint cited by The Press-Citizen said James Watts and nine companies he’s associated with failed to pay federal employment and unemployment taxes that were withheld from workers’ pay.
